Because of a change in Massachusetts State law, in order to have a Dealers' room at ConCertino, it will need to operate as a consignment shop. All dealers in the Dealers' Room at ConCertino will operate as "consignees" of MASSFILC. The primary dealer, MASSFILC, will handle paperwork regarding sales tax, etc. Dealers will keep records of all sales, including sales tax. Money will be handed over to MASSFILC, which will be responsible for sending in all sales tax due to the State of Massachusetts. Dealers will be compensated at the end of the convention, by check or in cash. In lieu of a table fee, MASSFILC will charge 1% of sales receipts from each dealer.
